Among the new features of the 34th edition were the Scandinavian Days, the Spanish performance Don Quixote, a drumming show, and an impressive flash mob. The Partner Country and Region — Sri Lanka and the Łódzkie Voivodeship — showcased their flavours, serving dishes such as chicken biryani and Łódź-style zalewajka. The extensive offer of the Market Tour Tourism Fair and the accompanying zones confirmed that the 34th edition of Piknik nad Odrą was prepared to a very high standard.

For the first time in the event’s history, the Partner Country and Partner Region were Tunisia and Mazovia. New additions included the Polish-German Discover Pomerania zone and an educational activity, “The Piknik nad Odrą Passport to Poland,” organised together with the Polish Tourism Organisation. The Grand Cooking Show also drew a lot of attention, featuring tastings of Tunisian couscous and Mazovian barszcz.
